Cristina Petcu has been working within the Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT since 2020, as a project coordinator. She has been active in the field of elections for over 12 years, with solid expertise as an electoral trainer, author of training programs, analyst and observer in national and international observation missions. She has developed analyses, studies and policy notes on electoral processes, being concerned with the accessibility and integrity of the vote. In the non-profit sector, she has been involved in collaborating with civil society organizations in the territory, monitoring the activity of public institutions and formulating recommendations for improving the legal framework, both in the electoral field and in that of civic education.
She has a degree in Law and holds a master's degree in Civil Law. He participated in several international professional development and leadership programs, including SI Leader Lab, a program of the Swedish Institute dedicated to civil society leaders, and the Professional Fellowship Program of the US Department of State, where he collaborated with the organization Common Cause, working in the field of voter rights protection and democracy consolidation.
