Alexandru Musteață, Director of the Intelligence and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova, was a special guest at the ADEPT School of Young Political Leaders, where he engaged with participants in a discussion on national security from an integrated perspective.

The conversation addressed the informational and digital dimensions of security, energy-related risks, as well as hybrid vulnerabilities.

The open dialogue with participants helped clarify a number of current issues, with concise and practical responses focused on helping young people better understand how security risks are assessed and managed in a complex regional and international context. The session provided an opportunity for direct questions and a deeper exploration of topics related to security and resilience.

The second part of the event was moderated by Igor Boțan, Executive Director of the ADEPT Association, who guided the discussion toward a sensitive topic amplified by the recent information climate: the issue of unification. In a rigorous and well-documented manner, the discussion was grounded in expertise and data rather than circumstantial opinions, aiming to explain how public attitudes are formed and evolve over time.

During the session, Igor Boțan presented the evolution of public perceptions regarding unification in the Republic of Moldova, including the role of introducing this topic into the Public Opinion Barometer conducted by the Institute for Public Policy. The data, trends, and context offered participants a clear and balanced perspective on a subject that continues to generate debate and remains relevant for younger generations.
