More than 20 Young People Participated in the ADEPT Summer School
More than 20 young political leaders and civil society representatives from the Republic of Moldova took part in the Summer School “Leaders Who Communicate, Citizens Who Act”, organized by the ADEPT Association on 20–21 June 2026.
The event aimed to strengthen participants’ practical skills in strategic communication, democratic leadership, media relations, multimedia content creation, and civic engagement.
Over the course of two days, participants explored the challenges of public communication in an increasingly complex information environment. Discussions focused on developing relevant messages for different audiences, effectively using digital platforms, countering disinformation, and understanding the role of communication in fostering public trust and civic participation.
The first day was facilitated by Mihaela Gherasim, journalist and strategic communication expert. Sessions focused on political and civic communication in the digital sphere, building credible messages, using modern communication tools, and leveraging multimedia content to promote issues of public interest.
The programme also featured a special session led by Daniel Vodă, diplomat, former spokesperson for the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who spoke with participants about authenticity, people-centred communication, and building trust with audiences.
On the second day, activities were coordinated by Ala Codreanu, public communication expert. Participants strengthened their public speaking and media engagement skills, addressing topics such as message structuring, handling difficult questions, and communicating effectively in sensitive situations.
The Summer School provided participants with a valuable platform for learning, networking, and exchanging experiences, contributing to the development of a new generation of leaders capable of communicating effectively and engaging actively in public life.
The Summer School “Leaders Who Communicate, Citizens Who Act” was organized by the ADEPT Association within the framework of the Young Political Leaders School, with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
