ADEPT Launches 2024 Activity Report

ADEPT has released its 2024 Activity Report, a document that outlines the organization's initiatives across four key areas: elections, good governance, civic education, and strengthening civil society.
În the electoral field, ADEPT continued to host the Secretariat of the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (CALC), facilitating collaboration among more than 40 NGOs involved in monitoring the presidential elections and the constitutional referendum. The platform www.alegeri.md provided verified information on candidates, voting rules, and results, reaching over 290,000 users. Video campaigns countered myths about European integration and were viewed by nearly one million people.
In terms of good governance, ADEPT supported local public administration reform through direct dialogue with authorities, training sessions for mayors and local councilors, and the development of the platform www.amalgamare.gov.md. More than 30 localities received support to become more transparent and citizen-oriented.
In the area of civic education, the Tulip Youth Academy program brought together 25 young people from across the country for sessions on democracy, justice, rights, and community engagement. The participants implemented local projects addressing issues ranging from disinformation to support for vulnerable groups.
ADEPT also provided concrete support to NGOs through training sessions on electoral legislation, political financing, and election monitoring. CALC members participated in a strategic planning exercise aimed at preparing more effective interventions for 2025.
