Selection of integrity inspectors

20 April 2020

The Legal Resources Center and the ADEPT Association monitored the selection process of integrity inspectors. Between April 12, 2018 and December 31, 2019, the National Integrity Authority held 6 competitions for 43 vacant positions. The contests were held in four stages: the analysis of the admissibility of the files, the written test, the interview and the simulated behavior test (polygraph).

Out of more than 135 files submitted, 89 candidates were admitted to the written test. Of these, 35 candidates passed the written test (with an average score of 7.25) - the interview (with an average score of 8.2), and 8 did not pass the polygraph test. In the end, 17 integrity inspectors were selected.

19 candidates who did not pass the competition participated in the subsequent competitions, 4 of them being appointed to the position of integrity inspector. One candidate (competition no. 5), although not accepted for interview, was finally selected as an integrity inspector in the same competition.

The average duration of the contests was 4 months (116 days), the shortest being 60 days, and the longest 183 days.
